Club Open Day enjoyed by all

The Club's Open Day, held on Sunday, June 28th proved a big success. Following all the heat of the preceding week the weather conditions were ideal for the event, arranged to coincide with the community Family Day being held on the nearby Sports Field.

Overall things went as well as could be expected and a steady flow of visitors came through the gates all afternoon covering a wide spectrum of the community. It was great to see families with small children trying some of the bowls-related games set out on the green.

It was a pleasure to be able to show our facilities to visitors and be able to chat to them over a cup of tea in our Clubhouse. We are most appreciative of the favourable comments recorded by visitors in our visitors book.
