SOUTH WEST SOMERSET LADIES LEAGUE

Somerton& District Bowls Club finished in a creditable third place in the South & West Somerset Ladies League in 2019. The final League Table is attached. 

WESSEX MIXED FRIENDLY LEAGUE FOURS COMPETITION 2019

Somerton & District Bowls Club enjoyed a highly successful season in this competition, finishing 2nd representing a big improvement compared to last year. The final league table is attached.

It should be appreciated that this competition provides an opportunity for all the Club bowlers to participate in a friendly competitive forum. Whilst a high league position is desirable it is more important that all playing members have the opportunity to enjoy playing home and away matches against local clubs. In 2019 a good cross-section of the membership participated in these matches.
