Leagues

WESSEX MIXED FRIENDLY LEAGUE FOURS 2025

It should be appreciated that this competition provides an opportunity for all the Club bowlers to participate in a friendly competitive forum. Whilst a high league position is desirable it is more important that playing members enjoy the friendly competitive environment of these matches, that are played home and away against local clubs. The Club finished the season in mid-table which is a creditable performance. The matches were generally well supported by members.

SOUTH & WEST SOMERSET LADIES LEAGUE 2025

The Ladies have enjoyed their matches this season that were mostly played in warm and dry conditions. Somerton finished in the lower half of the table notwithstanding some good wins.

COUNTY MEN'S LEAGUE COMPETITION 2025

Somerset & District BC men, for the second year competed in Division 1 of the South-West Somerset league. The Club struggled to regularly field its strongest team this year and ended up only just avoiding relegation.
